Mission:

The mission of the Superintendent’s District Advisory Panel for Exceptional Student Education is to assist the Superintendent in reviewing the current status of exceptional student education, identifying areas in need of improvement, developing goals and objectives, and recommending priorities for the provision of a free appropriate public education (FAPE) for students with disabilities.

About the Panel:

The Panel advocates for students entitled to special education and their families by offering counsel to the Superintendent and the administration of Miami-Dade County Public Schools in all areas affecting exceptional student education.
